Effective 1 January 2024, Department of Planning and Environment has been split to form two departments:
Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW)
Ensuring a sustainable NSW through climate change and energy action, water management, environment and heritage conservation and protection.
Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI)
Building the future of NSW today through delivering diverse planning, housing solutions, and infrastructure across the state.
