To promote open, accountable, fair and effective government in NSW, members of the public have a right to access government information. This right is restricted only when there is an overriding public interest against disclosing the particular information.
How can I access Property NSW information?
Under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPAA), certain information is required by law to be available on our website, free of charge. This is called "open access information" and includes our policy document, disclosure log and register of government contracts.
Register of government contracts and property sales
The Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 requires all contracts (including property sales) over $150,000 that are entered into by the NSW Government with the private sector must be recorded in the register of government contracts.
Details must be entered in the register within 45 working days of the contract coming into effect.
Details must remain on the register for 20 working days, or until the contract is complete, whichever is longer.

Property NSW Valuation Portal
The Property NSW Valuation Portal provides the community, industry and other government agencies with access to valuation products and services. These include free land value searches, valuation sales reports and an online facility to lodge an objection to your land value.
