If the information you are after has not already been published by Property NSW and there is no public interest reason why it should be kept confidential, then Property NSW may be able to release the information without the requirements of a formal release request.

Under the Government Information (Public Access) Act, however, government agencies are not required to release information without an access application.
Property NSW, therefore, reserves the right to require you to lodge a formal access application, particularly if there may be significant public interest considerations that need to be taken into account in deciding whether the information can be released, or if you request a large volume of information, or if it would otherwise take a significant amount of time to consider your request.
Information may also be released in response to a formal access application.

* A 50 per cent reduction in processing fees may apply if the applicant suffers financial hardship or if there is deemed to be a special public benefit to the public generally. There is no 50 per cent reduction in the application fee, but the applicant receives an extra hour’s processing before processing fees start.
If you do not agree with the determination of your request under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 you have the right to request a review of the agency’s decision. You may apply for an internal review by the agency you can ask for a review by the Information Commissioner.
