A thoughtfully curated showcase of fine goods and crafts, produced by talented local female artisans, artists and crafters, the Female Artisan Markets at Parramatta North, is a celebration of arts and culture from Western Sydney and surrounding areas.

Parramatta North is a place of compelling stories, honouring history from the time of First Peoples to the present day.

  • Explore the history of the area in your own time and visit the interactive historical touchscreen exhibit in the Western Sydney Startup Hub, powered by Spacecubed.
  • Sit outside and enjoy breakfast or lunch from Havenstone Café and listen to the sounds from acoustic performer Madi Lynn.

How to get to Parramatta North

The Female Artisan Markets will be hosted at 5 Fleet Street, North Parramatta.

Parking is limited in this area. Public transport is highly recommended, please visit Transport NSW to plan your trip.

Free shuttle buses are available from Parramatta Station to Parramatta Leagues Club. From here, it is approximately a 10-minute walk.

Alternatively, bus routes 549, 550, 600, 601, 603, 604, 606, 609, 625, and 706 can be taken from Parramatta Station to the O’Connell Street opposite Harold Street or the O’Connell Street after Albert Street bus stop. From here, walk along Albert Street and down a flight of stairs. This will take you directly to the entrance of Heritage Day at Parramatta North Heritage Precinct.
