The NSW Government has announced the $2.8 billion 2022 Housing Package to ensure people have a safe, secure, affordable place to call home.
As part of this package, the Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) is working toward unlocking hundreds of thousands of homes across NSW by 2027, including through 9 key initiatives.
Additional initiatives are being implemented by NSW Treasury, Department of Regional NSW and the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ).
Since the package was announced in June, we’ve achieved several milestones on the path to delivering more and better homes for the people of NSW.
