Premier's Priorities

Greening our City

To create a sustainable, liveable and cool Greater Sydney, we need trees and green cover. More trees mean more shade, cleaner air and more beautiful places to live.

The Greening our City Premier’s Priority aims to increase the tree canopy and green cover across Greater Sydney by planting one million trees by end of 2022. This is part of a broader commitment to plant five million trees by 2030.

One million trees

Together with your help we have planted one million trees in Greater Sydney. Thanks a million to everyone who made their tree count.

Let's keep planting to create a greener, cooler, more beautiful place to live. Register your trees to help us reach 5 million trees by 2030.
