What does the department report on?

The department has reporting commitments including statutory reporting under the Water Management Act 2000.  We also report annually on Water Strategy implementation.  Find details about these and other reports below.

We produce annual General Purpose Water Accounting Reports for all major regulated NSW inland valleys, providing consistent and transparent water resource accounting information.

Groundwater annual reports give a summary of water accounts, volume pumped, compliance with long-term extraction limits, trade statistics and groundwater levels.

The Water Administration Ministerial Corporation (WAMC) reports to the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal of NSW (IPART) on certain output measures and performance indicators IPART has set.
