We invite the public to engage with the process of water management and contribute to the sustainable use of our precious water resources. Our water sharing plans are a key part of the statutory framework under the Water Management Act 2000, designed to balance the needs of the environment with community and industry requirements.

Following feedback provided by stakeholders in 2023, the NSW Government offered stakeholders another opportunity to have a say on the proposed amendments. The public exhibition closed on 6 April 2025.
