The purpose of the NSW Land and Housing Corporation's (LAHC) local area analyses, is to deliver on the long-term vision set out in the the LAHC Portfolio Strategy.
The local area analyses are a place-based approach, providing a framework and direction to better understand:
- what stock we have
- where stock is located
- the stock condition
- what opportunities are available for redevelopment.
There are almost 1,200 social housing dwellings in the Port Macquarie-Hastings LGA. LAHC's vision for social housing in the Port Macquarie-Hastings LGA includes delivering houses to better meet tenants’ needs located near jobs, shops, transport and services.
