New maintenance contract

Responsive and programmed maintenance contract

The Responsive and Programmed Maintenance (RAPM) Contract covers the delivery of responsive repairs and planned maintenance services for 95,000 of the state’s social homes.

Responsive repairs are for urgent maintenance, such as a leaking pipe or broken window. Programmed maintenance is non-urgent work or replacement of an item within a property, such as painting, floor coverings and upgrading kitchens and bathrooms. To ensure efficiency and value for money, these maintenance or upgrade jobs are planned and scheduled into works programs.

Request for tender

A request for tender to businesses across NSW to deliver responsive and programmed works under the new maintenance contract closed in September 2023. A competitive tender evaluation process is now underway.

At award stage, several capable contractors will be selected to deliver maintenance services across 13 key contract areas across the state.
