Fees*

The department charges fees to cover the cost of assessing applications relating to flood work approvals. The application fee that applies depends on the type of application and whether advertising is required.

Submit your application

Email your completed application form and any other documents it requires to waterlicensing.servicedesk@dpie.nsw.gov.au.

Include in your email:

  • subject title: Amend Flood Works application—address
  • short email applying for a flood works approval, including your contact details
  • scanned PDF of your completed and signed application form.

Paying for your application

After we have accepted your application form, an officer from the department will call you to finalise your payment. You can pay the application fee by credit card or direct deposit.
