About treatment works approval status
Since the 1 July 2022, the Regulatory and assurance framework for local water utilities (PDF, 1100.53 KB) has applied to local water utilities in regional NSW.
The dashboard below provides transparency on the assessment status, approval result and 60 day assessment clock of works approvals (under section 5 of the Regulatory and assurance framework - section 60 of the Local Government Act 1993 or section 292(1) of the Water Management Act 2000).
Assessment and approval data presented is for all applications received via the WAMS application portal since 1 July 2022. The dashboard below, which outlines the status of treatment approvals, includes links to the notices of determination for projects where a determination has been made.
