What's happening

We completed new homes for up 15 older social housing tenants on Emily Street in 2021.

The 2-storey building has 6 2-bedroom and 3 one-bedroom units. The development is close to public transport, Hurstville town centre and local shops.

This development is set back from side boundaries and features enclosed, private, open areas for all apartments, accessible ground-floor units with private gardens, balconies for upper-level units, and screens to preserve the privacy of neighbours. It includes ground-level car parking spaces and new accessible footpaths.

This is one of about 50 projects being delivered under the NSW Government’s $400-million Fast-Track Housing Construction Package, to help boost economic recovery from COVID-19 in communities throughout the state.

Tradelink Constructions built the apartments.

Around 15 jobs were created as part of this project.
