We completed construction on our Jersey Street apartments in 2021.

The 2-storey complex has 6 2-bedroom and 2 one-bedroom units for up to 18 older social housing residents.

The bricks used to build the apartments were deliberately chosen to fit in with the character of the surrounding low-density residential neighbourhood. Metal cladding and grey and white accents were used to create visual interest.

Landscaping has created a pleasant garden for residents and enhances views into the complex from the street.

The apartments are within walking distance of public transport and Emerton Shopping Centre and are close to a leisure centre and local schools. Rainwater tanks collect water for the apartment’s grounds and laundries.

This is one of about 50 projects being delivered under the NSW Government’s $400-million Fast-Track Housing Construction Package, to help boost economic recovery from COVID19 in communities throughout the state.

Tom Zeaiter Constructions were contracted to build this project.

Around 12 jobs were created as part of this project.
