What’s happening
The Development Application for 82 Wentworth Park Road, Glebe was approved by the Sydney Local Planning Panel in December 2023.
This redevelopment project presents an important opportunity to significantly increase the number of new social homes in Glebe, transforming 17 older homes into 43 new energy-efficient, accessible homes that suit tenants needs, whilst also complementing the existing neighbourhood.
Construction is forecast to commence in mid-2025. Until that time, Homes NSW will work with Bridge Housing to utilise the existing buildings to temporarily house homeless people in need of short-term crisis accommodation, ensuring the buildings are not vacant and unused for any longer than necessary.
