We’ve started construction of 15 townhouses and villas in North Richmond to provide new homes for up to 29 residents. We expect the project will be completed by December 2022.
The 2-storey development has 14 2-bedroom townhouses and 1 adaptable one-bedroom villa to accommodate people who use wheelchairs.
Located close to North Richmond shopping precinct and public school, the development includes 120 m of new footpath along Sunnyside Crescent.
Two mature trees have been kept for the enjoyment of residents and to provide shade for the complex.
This is one of about 50 projects being delivered under the NSW Government’s $400-million Fast-Track Housing Construction Package, to help boost economic recovery from COVID-19 in communities throughout the state.
Westbury Constructions is contracted to build the project.
Around 26 jobs will be created as part of this project.
