Located within 350 metres of public transport, and close to Campsie shops and Canterbury Hospital, this $7.89 Million contemporary development in the Canterbury-Bankstown local government area, is due for completion in August 2022.

When complete, this new development will include an internal lift, environmentally sustainable energy saving solar panels in communal areas, stormwater upgrades, level access to dwellings and communal areas and kerb, gutter and footpath upgrades. Three, two-bedroom units will be adaptable for mobility restricted residents, there will be new landscaping as well as resident parking.

This renewal project will have a significant social housing uplift providing homes for up to 32 new residents in addition to creating 39 jobs.

This development project at Vicliffe Street is one of about 50 projects being delivered under the NSW Government’s $400 million Fast-Track Housing Construction Package, to help boost economic recovery from COVID-19 in local communities throughout the state.

In line with the NSW Government’s Future Directions for Social Housing plan, this project highlights the NSW Government’s continued commitment to deliver well designed, fit-for purpose homes integrated within the community to create greater diversity and help strengthen support for social housing residents.
