What’s happening

We’ve partnered with Community Housing Provider BlueCHP to redevelop a former low-density social housing site into a mixed-tenure development.

The project is within walking distance of public transport and services to Hurstville, Bankstown and Parramatta. It includes 37 social housing dwellings, comprising 13 1-bedroom units, 21 2-bedroom units and 3 3-bedroom units, and 35 privately owned units.

Homes will be divided across two 4-storey buildings surrounded by a generous communal landscaped space built around an existing paperbark tree. Level access for all ground-floor social housing units will make them suitable for older tenants, people with disability and those with prams. A lift is also provided for easy access to upper levels.

The complex includes basement residential parking.

Mono Constructions is building the units, with work expected to be completed in mid 2023.

We expect to create around 105 jobs during the project.
